You can now tune into Linn Radio to sample selections from their wonderful catalogue of high-resolution recordings.

Of course streaming music over the internet is not at the highest resolution. At 320 kbps (the highest quality MP3 can go to) it still sounds pretty good streaming through your Weiss Dac. Good enough to help to select which of these recordings you’d like to purchase and download from Linn to hear through your system in all their glory.

This Jadis JPL pre-amp from 1993 has had one single owner and comes complete with the original box and manual.

As you can see from the photo, it is in excellent condition for its age. With new tubes it is sounding excellent as well right now as I’m writing, through the Avantgarde Acoustic Duo Omega G2′s.

This is a chance to own this audio classic, which needs no further introduction from me, at a bargain price.

Pictured here is the beautifully styled, fully featured, Dodd Battery powered tube pre-amplifier. It has 4 inputs (including CD) plus a Home Theatre pass-through input for use with an external volume controlled receiver. Two outputs are provided, the second one of which can be used to feed a subwoofer or second system.

The wood finish shown here was a custom option which is no longer available. This is complemented by a shiny chrome top-plate and matching wooden remote control for controlling the volume.

The pre-amp is powered by 4 Sealed lead acid batteries which have just been replaced. The supplied charger ensures the batteries are quickly recharged as soon as the pre-amp is switched off. One pair of batteries powers the pre-amp while a second pair remains fully charged. Each pair provides approximately 6 hours of continuous play (depending on the volume level used) If  you exceed this time, a warning sound and flashing light appears, then simply switch to the second pair to continue listening.

The Dodd pre-amp is sitting on a VertexAQ Super Kinabalu support. All these items are on a Rethm Taalam Rack.

The remarkable Rethm Saadhana has a sense of life and presence that musicians truly appreciate. Since Rethm have evolved the speaker to a MKII model, we are selling off our demonstration pair for only €4.950 compared to the original retail price of €8.500.

This  speaker is not so easy to track down and really must be experienced.

The guys at Zu Audio really put their hearts into this speaker. Unfortunately at the very reasonable price they were asking for it, the Presence just didn’t prove to be economically viable and had to be discontinued. The official price in Europe was €10.400. Since we work directly with Zu we offered it at a much more reasonable €7.500. Now that it has been discounted, we are offering it at a ridiculously low price of €4.950.

These speakers are arguably the finest Zu have ever made, next to the Definition. They really must be heard to be appreciated.

One pair of Avantgarde Duo Omega ex-demonstration with Silver horns. This is a G1 pair, only used in Sound Galleries for demonstration. The price of only €13.950 includes delivery and installation within Monaco/France

The ultimate Podium Sound speaker. Now made to special order only. This is a demonstration pair, used only in Sound Galleries. The original drivers were all replaced with new upgraded models at the beginning of the year, with a surprisingly big improvement on what was already a remarkable and uniquely amazing speaker for re-creating the sense of being at the venue where the recording took place.

Priced at only €6.600 including delivery and installation within Monaco/France, this really is a one-off opportunity.

This is an ex-demonstration pair of Podium Sound .5 speakers.

Thank you to all of you who attended the show. We’ve had a lot of positive feedback and plan to do it again next year. I managed to get hold of an iPad before the European release and used it to interact with a music server feeding Weiss DAC. This allowed High Resolution files to be played back, up to 192khz/24bit.
